After reading the article.. maybe I don’t blame the guy. Just look at the department store.

As he later testified at a hearing, he didn’t stop to help for fear he’d be accused of trying to abduct her. You know: A man driving around with a little girl in his car? She ended up at a pond and drowned.
I understand what you mean. My husband came across a girl who looked to be about 4 who wandered away from home and was crying. He stopped to ask her if she was lost. She said yes. He asked her if she knew the name of the street she lived on, and then when she didn’t, he asked her her full name and her parent’s names. Then he called 411 on his cell and called a few numbers until he got hold of her mother.
The police arrived before she did. They almost arrested my husband and it took quite some convincing before everyone agreed that my husband didn’t do anything wrong.
I’m glad the little girl is alright, but after that, I wouldn’t be surprised if he never helps a kid again.
