1979 suburban water pipe leak?
I changed the hose down in my 1979 Suburban and water can not escape from the pipe where connects with the casing of the pump. I used a new tube and the collar and tightened the clamp provided possible in limited space. Water jets before starting the engine. When I took the hose used was something blue "goo" (probably silicone) inside the pipe. Any ideas on how to stop the leak? Clearly, a problem earlier. Anyone familiar with a potential problem inherent connection to the water pump housing. Thanks!
Make sure the drain is not in the water pump. Both are on the same region
