1974 318 mopar engine oil change where to put the oil in?
ok both valve covers have a hole for oil does it matter which side i put the oil in at or do i ut it on the side with the oil filter and oil dipstick?
or can i do both? and how many quarts does a v8 take?
Put it in either, it doesn’t matter. 5 quarts with a stock oil pan. Make sure that you change the filter, too. I would put 10w40 oil in it, or just regular 40 weight if you live where there’s hot weather.
