The Mahindra-Renault Logan was launched in August 2007. 27.3 Astronomical kmpl fuel efficiency on the road to reach its efficiency even most of the 1.5 dCi Logan. 62,949 liters – The total volume of fuel consumed during the Mega Mileage Run
58 hours 44 minutes – total time the car is taken on a full fuel tank in the process that encompasses more of 2248 kms.
35.72 kmpl – Energy efficiency made by the Mahindra-Renault Logan 1.5 dCi in high-speed track in NCAT.
Following these figures surprising mileage, OverDrive has decided to emulate in real conditions. The car's performance in real world conditions is what really affects purchasing decisions joint of man. Thus, the Logan has been driven from Delhi to Ahmedabad to assess how it went in the context of mileage in one of the roads in India.
To achieve the mega mileage record in real terms, the plan was to drive to the Logan constant 80kmph a long distance. This would not only Logan on the same footing as any road or any road-car use but also for assessing efficiency in a much greater distance of about 920 kms and measuring their effectiveness more accurately. Since the mission was to get the best mileage, it was decided to drive without air conditioning and the continued use of electronics to a minimum.
The hard drive is a real world with the ideal of many irregularities in the flow of calls about with huge trucks rushing past the Logan and the roads free of 4-lane roads with narrow streets.
Results:
981 km – the distance that Mahindra-Renault Logan was transferred between Delhi and Ahmedabad
32.31 liters – The total volume of fuel consumed during mileage.
22 hours 40 minutes – about the time the car was to cover 981 kilometers.
30.36 kmpl – consumption fuel obtained by the Mahindra-Renault Logan 1.5dCi on NH8, Delhi, Ahmedabad highway.
This article is an initiative of Mahindra-pilots Renault to help teach better driving habits to improve the efficiency of their cars. This disc is called "Renault eco 2 schedule. The Renault Eco 2 program is a division of Renault vehicles only makes more efficient by slight changes in the powertrain and body.
Here are some simple tips to improve fuel consumption cars.
* Pre-empt traffic movements ahead.
* Try not rev above 2500 rpm.
* Change in the right team at the right time.
* When you climb a hill, to avoid tracking in fourth or fifth year. However, the shift to third or second gear.
* Reduce excessive and unnecessary weight in the car.
* Even when buying a new car, so fuel consumption is concern, choose the lighter of the car.
* Avoid idling for too long at traffic lights
* Avid lane change.
* Avoid using air conditioners and maintain the use of electronics to a minimum.
* Make sure your tires are inflated to the correct manufacturer recommended pressure.
* Tank of your vehicle regularly and ensure that there are still about ¾ of a tank in your car.
